HABITAT AND MICROHABITAT

What is the difference between habitat and microhabitat?
1.   Habitat is a ecological or environmental area that inhabited by organism because it is best suited to their needs to support their life, such as typical conditions of environmental factors (temperature, humidity, sil structure, barometric pressure, etc.) and resources (light, food, nesting sites and others).
2.  Microhabitat is part of habitat that has the most suitable physical requirements to suppot organism’s life. A microhabitat is often a smaller habitat within a larger one . The various species of animals that concentrate in the same habitat (= cohabitation) will occupy each microhabitat.

The example:
1.   Planaria sp.
Habitat         : river
Microhabitat: under the rocks of the river

2.   Clown fish
Habitat          : sea water
Microhabitat : on the anemon
