CONDITION AND RESOURCES
The organisms around the world live in certain conditions and needs. This means they have a minimal standard to survive. In this post we will discuss about definition of both "Condition and Resources" and the example of organism.
A. CONDITION
The definition of condition is an abiotic environmental variable or physicochemical features that fluctuates in space and time, and to which organisms vary in their response. This features is influencing species distribution and abundance.
The condition includes:
1. Temperature
2. Moisture
3. Humidity
4. pH
5. Salinity
6. Soil Structure
7.Pollutant, etc.
Examples of condition:
1. Temperature
2. Soil Types
B. RESOURCES
The definition of resources are everything consumed by organisms and used for growth and reproduction.
- Plant resources: CO2, water, mineral nutrients, solar radiation, etc.
- Animal resources: bodies of other organisms for food, nesting sites, etc.
Consumed resources are no longer available to other individuals, so that competition may occur when resources are limited.
Examples of resources:
1. Resources of plant
a) Solar radiation
b) Water
c) Mineral nutrients
2. Resources of animals
